UltraTimer is an easy and convenient way of timing any activity or series of activities. You can set a single timer or multiple timers, each including series of count-down intervals that run back-to-back. Each interval can be customized to play a different alarm sound from the included library, as well as change the background color for visual feedback. Building a timer is easy with the included multiple-copy and paste feature: you can select multiple intervals, copy them, then paste them anywhere in any timer. It is easy to set up intervals for any activity: training (martial arts, boxing, mma, circuit training, interval training, yoga, meditation, cycling, running, etc), cooking (for multi-stage recipes or reminders to baste/uncover/add-in/etc), time management for switching between multiple projects, or anything else you can think of.

The included sound library comes with a wide variety of reminder sounds suitable for relaxing timers (singing bowl, crystal strike, ...), high intensity activities (boxing bell, buzzer, car horns, ...) and everything in between.

UltraTimer comes with 4 example timers: Sparring (2 minutes of sparring, following by 30 seconds of rest), Tabata Intervals (20 seconds high intensity, 10 seconds low intensity for 4 minutes), Ergonomic Reminders (reminds you to look away from the monitor and stretch over the course of an hour), and Circuit Training (switching between lower, upper, and core exercises).

Using UltraTimer with music playing is not a problem. Start you music in the iPod app, then run UltraTimer. The sounds will play over top of your music without interrupting it.
